1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RentInvest website located at rentinvest.com.au ("Site"), including all content, tools, products, and services offered through the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute arising under these Terms.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable Australian or international laws or regulations
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, server, or database
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the Site or its content without our express written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Site by automated means

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, articles, graphics, logos, tool designs, and the RentInvest brand — is owned by or licensed to RentInvest and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may access and read content on the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, or modify any content from this Site without prior written permission, except where permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (for example, fair dealing for research or study).

4. Membership and Subscriptions

Certain areas of the Site and its tools are accessible only to paid members. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable membership fees as set out at the time of purchase. All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at sign-up, via Stripe
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period
• Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@rentinvest.com.au within 14 days of purchase
• Guide purchase: The one-off guide purchase is non-refundable once the digital product has been delivered

5. Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

6. User-Submitted Content

If you submit content to us (such as messages via the contact form), you grant RentInvest a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish that content solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or improving our services. You represent that you own or have the right to submit such content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable legislation, RentInvest's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or $100 AUD, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, however arising.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that applies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. RentInvest does not endorse or accept responsibility for the content of third-party sites and is not liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or for any other legitimate reason. Termination does not affect accrued rights or liabilities.
